Boundary problems

Hi, I'd like to see if some action can be done regarding what I feel is an overstep on following the talkpage rules. Over a year ago there was a strange edit on The NewZealand Story's intro, claiming that it was racist. I reverted that edit on September as I could not find anything about this. The original editor came to explain in my page why he made the edit (it was misinformation given to him at school), which initially startled me. I reassured the editor that this wasn't the intent of the game, because I was an indigenous man and I could only recount one other time that there was a tribal man in a Taito game. But as 2024 went on I gradually got more uncomfortable with the fact that this was on my page (I tend to not touch openly charged topics such as race, especially as something as charged as me being native) so I took it off while clearly labelling that I was very uncomfortable.

That was in violation of the rules, though, as this says I shouldn't delete text on my talk page. Someone that I don't know went on my talk page, sifted through the edit history, and went out of their way to revert the topic on the page. This struck me as very invasive and I reverted it but I found out that I was in the wrong.

Should there be something done about this? This makes me very uncomfortable and I'm not sure what to do other than to come here.

Hi. Sorry if it made you uncomfortable. I was trying to do what this rule says and I don't mean to cause stress for anyone. If it's something that I need to change regarding certain edits, then please let me know and I understand. - TetraFan1000 (talk) 15:43, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
