Regarding Crash's WIGSV animation

Hey there, it's incredible to see you ripping assets from Crash 1's prototype and documenting them. You're doing God's work!

I'm curious as to how you were able to rip the models and particularly view the animations for the assets in question? I'm a huge noob in CrashEdit, so you'll have to forgive me not knowing how! Crashandcortex (talk) 14:16, 8 August 2017 (EDT)

There's a special version of CrashEdit made by Mandude that allows you to view animations (albeit untextured) but I do not know how to rip models yet. They can be viewed in the program by looking inside normal chunks and then selecting Animations/Old animations and then of course either screenshotting or making gifs out of them. Here's an example of what I mean. Best of luck! --Ernesdo (talk) 13:10, 9 August 2017 (EDT)

Using PVV

Select a 256x128 area in the VRAM (the red tool, use the right mouse button to resize), since that's the size of a texture chunk, then in that area use the green tool to either select a 16-color palette (4-bit) or 256-color palette (8-bit). The first 16 colors will usually be garbage because they're part of the texture chunk header. :) -- ManDude (talk) 11:07, 10 August 2017 (EDT)

First of all, thanks for the answer! However, where are the palettes to select? I cannot seem to find them anywhere.
EDIT: Nevermind, I found them! I didn't know they were grouped with the image as well. Thanks a ton! :)
EDIT OF EDIT: Okay, so I figured it out for the most part, but there still appear to be some palettes missing. (I'm trying to get all of the textures for this sheet specifically)--Ernesdo (talk) 12:32, 10 August 2017 (EDT)
