  • January 24 - The game is revealed on Famitsu Magazine.
  • May 9 to May 11 - The game went through a location test at Akihabara Hay, Tokyo, Japan.
  • June 13 to June 16 - The game went through a location test at Castle EX arcade in Kyobashi, Osaka, Japan.
  • November 19 - BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is released in Japan (Arcade).
  • November 20 - BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is released in United States (Arcade).

AOU 2008 Trailer

  • The "FINISH" graphics are different.
  • The Barrier bar is yellow, instead of blue and it displays numbers alongside it.
  • The track "Under Heaven Destruction" sounds noticeably different, but the main melody is the same.

Famitsu Trailer

  • As with the case of "Under Heaven Destruction", "Lust SIN"'s main melody is exactly the same, but instruments sound quite different (aside from the piano solo at the beginning).
