Hmmm...
To do:
  • Check if unused content differs between platforms. This page is a mixture of stuff found in the Wii U and PC versions.
  • See if falling down a pit triggers unused reswpawn code.
  • Staying in a liquid for a while triggers a meter that shows how long you can stay under, despite the fact that all the liquid in the game hurts you anyway. The developer said (somewhere) that this is a leftover from a scrapped Ocean area (one that is possibly mentioned in one of the Notes).
  • There are debug strings in the code. Document the code they are from. Althought they might be used for the log files in the PC version.
  • cheat codes. See if the wiki discovered anything first.
    • In the credits as the fifth "person" in Special Thanks is the cheat code "Axio Jwmau568". The credits file has a comment about describing its purpose: " <!-- Moon jump passcode -->". As it suggests, it allows Trace to jump higher than usual.
  • Supposedly there was a demo or early version leaked online, maybe to warez sites? This is just based off a single youtube comment, so it could be rubbish.
  • Elsenova has data for getting damaged in the enemy data. Some of the enemy data is probably used for the final boss fight.
  • DefaultSaveData.xml seems to be a demo/debugging leftover - starts you off with the basic items and the nitial cutscenes completed
  • Soundtrack.xml lists the proper names for the music tracks, as seen on the physical soundtrack. Is this used anywhere?
  • More stuff found by users in the Axiom Verge discord server
  • konami code at title screen allows password entry straight away https://www.reddit.com/r/axiomverge/comments/317cpb/konami_code_on_main_menu_does_something_but_what/
  • Where on the game map does the hallucination sequence take place?
  • "paramater" cheat codes don't work on psvita https://www.reddit.com/r/axiomverge/comments/4ov13z/vita_version_password_differences/
  • PS4 v1.05 (the version in the scene release) contains a windows executable and dlls

Hmmm...
To do:
Check which demo versions these were used in.

These messages aren't translated in the non-English files. The files are found in Content\Text\Messages\. They appear to be leftovers from demo versions.

Unused Dialogue Event / Early/Cut Plot Points in Developer Comments

Hmmm...
To do:
Try uncommenting them then triggering them

The unused cutscenes are commented out, which is presumably why they can't be played with the cutscene cheat code.

The unused hallucination cutscene uses the otherwise unused dialogue portraits: HallucinatoryHead2 and HallucinatoryHead3
