Hi I like studying video game development. Most of what I do is analyzing games that might be under-explored or of personal value to me, and interpreting my findings in context. Prerelease videos and concept images are some of my favorite things to find and document.
I am part of Helix Chamber, and thus have a sizeable interest in Pokémon, but I also like Kirby, Digimon, RPGs, Mario, Destiny 2, games by Rare, old edutainment games, etc.
Feel free to ask me about any of the things I work on.
Stuff I am working on currently
- Donkey Kong 64 - prerelease video analysis (long-term project)
- Pokémon Colosseum unused text organization and translation
- Diddy Kong Racing file list investigation
- Pokémon Stadium unused text and debug menus
- Pokémon Let's Go Eevee prototype comparisons (with Lewchube)
Stuff I would like to work on
- Chrono Trigger - undocumented JPN-only bugs and early map analysis from promo video
- Gamecube datamining:
- Kirby Air Ride
- Prerelease analysis:
- Paper Mario
- Super Mario RPG
- Pokémon Stadium series
- Kirby 64 & Kirby Bowl/Air Ride
- Pokémon Snap and Hey You, Pikachu!
- Banjo-Kazooie & Tooie
Stuff I have worked on
- Pokémon Battle Revolution early Gen IV names (as Helix Chamber)
- TES IV: Oblivion - unused content documentation (left as-is for now)
- Super Mario 64 prerelease (pre-gigaleak, mostly footage analysis and page organization)
- Pokémon Gold and Silver prerelease and SW97 documentation pages (before and after gigaleak), sprite comparisons between Blue/SW97/final Gold
- Pokémon Diamond prototype debug menu translation and exploration
- Pokémon Ruby German debug sound effect list analysis
- Final Fantasy X debug room menu translations & organization
