A Turtles In Time-esque TMNT game on the Genesis, which is actually based rather loosely on some episode of the show. Curiously, Tatsu from the movies puts in an appearance for good measure.

Level Select

Enter A, B, B, C, C, C, B, A at the title screen. Start the game, and the level select will appear.

Unused Green Foot Soldier Palette

Sequentially after the other foot soldier palettes, there are unused palettes corresponding to a green foot soldier.

Regional Differences

Friendly Fire

In the Japan and Europe versions, enter C, B, B, A, A, A, B, C at the Konami logo. Start a 2 player game and both turtles will be able to hit each other. This feature is not available in the US version.

Title Screen

While the USA and European versions share the same subtitle, the European version changes "Ninja" to "Hero", due to the U.K.'s British Board of Film Classification censoring any media associated with ninjas. In Japan, the game is subtitled as "Return of the Shredder" using a similarly colored but different font.
