Combine all versions and water marks

Just curious but are we going to cram all versions of ZTD on one page? I found something unused in the 3DS version. Nothing big. It's just the water marks of the game logo that appears in Vita screenshots (top right). Pretty sure you can't take screenshots in the 3DS version. --Cuber456 (talk) 21:08, 7 July 2016 (EDT)

I'm down for combining all versions into the same page and making note of things that only appear in certain versions. I think the watermark image wouldn't count because it's used in one version, but not in another. Whereas the song is unused in one version, and missing from another. -Ehm (talk) 21:17, 7 July 2016 (EDT)
I'd also like to combine 3DS here. I made note of a very minor typo from the 3DS version, and I don't see a whole lot of version changes. If need be, we can dedicate a subpage for 3DS differences. Plus the title doesn't look that good right now. Arsym (talk) 20:07, 29 July 2016 (EDT)
Well we can't just post a subpage for the 3DS version on the Windows/Vita page. We would either have to rename the Windows/Vita page to include the 3DS (which is really a page move) or create a new page altogether. Also, not sure if anyone is actively searching the 3DS version. I intended to do so myself but after digging up a majority of info for both 999 and VLR, I needed a break from all of it. --Cuber456 (talk) 09:59, 30 July 2016 (EDT)
Woops, that's what I meant. Rename the page so it doesn't have the systems in the title. The unused text and audio are common across PC and 3DS, but by the looks of it the 3DS version was compiled before the PC version (see the extra typo). If there's going to be extra goodies, it's most likely in the 3DS version.
To be honest, I only started looking into the ZTD files because I was hoping to find dropped plot points or something to redeem the ending. I'm kinda disappointed, so I'm not sure if I'll have steam going forward. Arsym (talk) 05:50, 31 July 2016 (EDT)
Well finding scrapped plot points in any game would be interesting. However, it would appear that the ZE series has very little in the ways of unused or scrapped scripts left in the final games. Just a guess but I think that the scripts were pretty close to completion by the time they were injected into the games minus the typos. 999 doesn't have much, or at least nothing obvious. Didn't check VLR. Although, it would be more proper to check the Japanese versions which I can't do.
Who knows though. Its also possible that there is something both you and I overlooked.--Cuber456 (talk) 12:28, 31 July 2016 (EDT)

Unused Audio

There are quite a few unused audio tracks, usually corresponding to the unused text dialogs. However, there are also some tracks that are split channels of a mixed track (for example, 4 people are laughing together in one track, then the next 4 tracks have the individual laughs). Is it appropriate to upload all of them, or only the ones of "significance" (however that's determined)? Arsym (talk) 04:12, 30 July 2016 (EDT)

There are different ways you could handle it. For example, you could do a comparison of the unused pieces to the final combined versions or you just upload the unused pieces and make note that they do get used in a combined version. I chose the first option with something similar for the Metroid Fusion page (See track 31). It's up to you on how you want to handle it since you know what you actually have. However, I would recommend creating a new sub page for unused audio/music if you really have a bunch of things to upload. If you are still unsure, you can always ask an admin. --Cuber456 (talk) 00:00, 1 August 2016 (EDT)
I took your advice and got the English audio up. All that's left is the Japanese stuff, but I think that's it for me. Just wanted to thank you for everything you've done for the series. I remember looking at your work months ago and being inspired by it. Anyway, I wish you the best. Arsym (talk) 12:00, 1 August 2016 (EDT)
That actually means a lot to me. I've always done this research for the fun of it but I am happy that people do look at what I post :P. I am also happy that I provided motivation for someone to start research of a game on their own. So thank you for that.
If you ever have an itch to research any game again, feel free to come back to TCRF. --Cuber456 (talk) 17:00, 2 August 2016 (EDT)

The van models are used

I removed the following section from the main page:

[[File:ZTD-ei100-white-vans.png|300px]]

Inside of 00000000.cfsi\event\item\ei100 is a model of 4 white vans.

The reason being is because I think this is used in at least the PC and 3DS versions. Proof can be seen in the following meme video at about 22 seconds in (spoilers duh) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zAU7tZnCcQ. --Cuber456 (talk) 09:30, 30 July 2016 (EDT)

Huh, good catch. Just gonna label it for deletion then. Arsym (talk) 05:47, 31 July 2016 (EDT)
