'Password' meaning?

here's my shot at decoding the meaning of the mysterious KTTAISONMAI89PRTN23Y password from the ending of the Japanese version:

  • KT = Kyuukyoku Tiger
  • TAISONMAI my first thought was a reference to Mike Tyson, 'Maiku Taison', but I think this refers to the 3 companies involved with the game
    • TAI = Taito, arcade version publisher/licensor
    • SON = Sony, as in CBS/Sony Group, Japanese publisher of FC version
    • MAI = maikuronikusu, Micronics, the developer
  • 89 = 1989, year of release
  • PRTN23Y = Programmer, Takahiko Nagaya, 23 years old

Whether it was actually used for anything (some kind of contest?) or it was just something slipped in by the programmer, I have no idea. - Taizou (talk) 13:35, 4 September 2016 (EDT)
