Staff Credits
Just curious as to why my section on hidden staff credits was removed? It doesn't seem to be accessible during regular gameplay and requires the player to go through 99 stages, an abnormally long playthrough session that most people wouldn't bother doing. This feature is also not listed anywhere in the manual as far as I know, either. CleanRoom (talk) 01:00, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- Well, for one it's not hidden or unused. While getting to level 99 is hard, it's still doable and doesn't require some trickery or obscure method to trigger the ending. If there had been a requirement to trigger the credits after level 99, such as achieving a certain score or killing x amount of enemies, then that definitely would have counted as "hidden". There are other games that give you an ending after level 99 (such as Thexder for the NES), so it's not unheard of. ReyVGM (talk) 08:45, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you for the explanation, I had no idea until now. Will keep this in mind for future edits. CleanRoom (talk) 10:03, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
- Sometimes you can find "used/non-secret" content like that on the pages here, but that's only when it's an original TCRF research discovery. In other words, if it's used but isn't found anywhere on the Internet, then you could add it here and credit it as an "original TCRF research" (I'm personally against it because you could always contribute trivia/secrets like that to GameFAQS). On the other hand, if it's also used content but it's already found on the internet (such as your credits contribution), then it doesn't count. ReyVGM (talk) 10:18, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
