The debug menu works on the Super Game Boy edition as well but with in black and white. also, when pushing 'B' in the Music and sound option, all sound will be muted for less than a second. And there is SGB at 0D on the START option. Nensondubois 19:01, 29 May 2010 (EDT)

Unused SGB border?

What do you mean when you say "congratulatory border"? I see an in-game congratulation message, but that's not a border. And isn't that the default border used by the SGB? Why is it unused? ReyVGM 14:57, 10 August 2013 (EDT)

Well it does say congratulations so it would makes sense that it would have been for some congratulations. I have played through the game modes to completion and the border does not display, so maybe it was intended for a secret button combo to be accessed in the border pause screen. I have been unable to trace button reads that would determine this though. This may have been an early border for the Super Game Boy. Tetris 2 was developed around the same time as the Super Game Boy. Also, because of this, I wonder if that might be why the original Tetris 2 version does not have a special pre-defined palette setting. -nensondubois 15:21, 10 August 2013 (EDT)
I see that the Tetris 2 border says "Dot Matrix" on top, but the actual SGB border doesn't say it. So I guess this is indeed a custom border, even if it looks like the default one. ReyVGM 21:31, 11 August 2013 (EDT)
Mario's Picross borders also display "Dot Matrix". This still may have been a working design for the Super Game Boy default border. It is currently impossible to verify whether true or false. -nensondubois 22:43, 13 August 2013 (EDT)

SGB version

Should we clear up which edition was available where? I was under the impression the game without Super Game Boy support was exclusive to North America.Theclaw (talk) 21:42, 7 May 2014 (EDT)
