GB Password feature
Should we mention the one in that version as well? I know that the ending password is different. Andrew Rae (talk) 16:28, 12 August 2015 (EDT)
Is these German and Spain versions is officially translated?
Because I noticed they both have some differences specially the borders around menus and dialogue box have another style of borders. Maybe there more changes in these versions is worth to document? --Redrush64 (talk) 17:31, 22 August 2019 (EDT)
CASTLEIN and the Druid's Dagger
Could it be that after so many decades, the caveat about the last level password (CASTLEIN) not giving you the Druid's Dagger is... false?
The Druid's Dagger is necessary to beat the stage's mid-boss, if you don't have it, well, you can't finish the game!
Due to a recent edit by Redrush64 claiming that some versions of the game DO give you the Druid's Dagger, I decided to investigate the matter for myself.
So, I entered the password in all the No-Intro ROM versions (Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves (USA)-(USA) (Rev A)-(Europe)-(Germany)-(Spain)) and the GoodNES versions too ((U) PRG0) [!]-(U) (PRG0) [o1]-(U) (PRG1) [!]-(E)-(G)-(S)) and the verdict is that ALL versions give you the Druid's Dagger. I don't know who was the first one to claim you don't get the dagger, but maybe that person just didn't take a closer look. If you open the player menu, it's true that Robin doesn't have the dagger. But if you scroll to Friar Tuck's menu, you'll see he has the Druid's Dagger in his inventory. All you have to do is transfer it to Robin to be able to use it.
