Unaccounted-For Sound Test Code?

This webpage has the following cheat code which, supposedly, will launch a sound test after SELECT (to launch the save menu) is pressed, followed by the X button to exit the save screen.

There's inconsistencies on the webpage itself though so I'm unsure if it's actually for a specific version of Rhapsody (maybe a Japanese rerelease) or a specific version of Little Princess, as the page title specifically references the +1 (SLPS-03012/03013) edition of that game.
