Cool, Bad and Awful versions of tracks

This is moreso something that applies to all three games, but I've been wondering for a while… Would the beginnings of the Cool/Bad/Awful versions of tracks, even of the PS4 version's alternate music, count as unused content? There's no legitimate sound test from what I can tell… You also always start at Good at each stage, so at a minimum players can't get to hear the Cool/Bad variants until after a minimum of the stage intro + 2 lines, and Awful variants after the stage intro + 4 lines. With stages like Stage 6 in the first game, and Stage 7 in the sequel (PaRappa the Rapper 2), that's a hefty amount of music that ends up going unheard, I think. --Nunof Yerbizness (talk) 19:19, 3 April 2022 (UTC)

That's probably a good five minutes of music for each game and maybe ten minutes of music in UmJammer Lammy. I imagine no one's mentioned it yet because of the work involved in ripping those first few bars from three versions of up to seven songs. But, yeah. That's definitely something worth at least mentioning.

I'm pretty sure that the American version also changed the message "A second" to "Hang on......", simliar to how "A Moment" was changed to "Hold On..." This wasn't in the PSP release tho. I'm コーリー (talk) 20:29, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
