Unused mission audio

After extracting the speech files with an external program, I discovered a lot of unused speech, and I realised that the SDXX (XX is the number of the bank) audio bank appears to have voice files of cut missions or missions that are present in the PlayStation 2 and Wii versions of the game. I also noticed that some of these voice lines were repurposed into cutscenes. For example:

  • Chase Linh: "You're making an impression, keep up the good work. They will call. Trust me."

Other voice lines sound slightly different between versions:

  • PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows:
    • Chase Linh: "Good. Word is spreading fast that you can drive, but they're going to remain suspicious of a newcomer. We need to give them something to talk about. Start getting into it with the local authorities."
  • PlayStation 2 and Wii:
    • Chase Linh: "Good. Word is spreading fast that you can drive, but they're going to remain suspicious of a newcomer. Start mixing it up with the cops. We need to give them something to talk about."
  • PlayStation Portable:
    • Chase Linh: "Good. Word is spreading fast that you can drive, but don't be suspicious until you can prove you're not afraid to mix it up with the cops. Pick wanted missions from your map. Prove yourself against the boys and blue."
