Good Lightning
Right, so in the game, there's a "weapon", or item rather, called the Good Lightning. You get it at the end of the game, in the very last level. It lets you heal your minions at the expense of your own health. Once you enter a level in MediEvil, you can't go back to the map screen, so this item cannot be taken outside of the level by normal means. However, if you use cheats to use it outside of the final level, you'll find that you can heal pretty much any enemy and boss in the game. Is this worth mentioning on the page? ~ Dan's Friend (talk) 08:42, 22 February 2015 (EST)
Could be? Its function is to transfer life from Dan to targets, so using it on enemies is not its intended function. Sounds like a side-effect of how the weapon is coded in order to fulfill its function in the final boss fight. ~ Cid Silverwing (talk) 02:07, 13 February 2016 (EST)
Programmer's Playground
Also, there's a level referenced in-game called the Programmer's Playground. It doesn't have an overlay file, so it can't be played, but the level's model is within the game files as was proven by someone on the MediEvil Boards. Is this worth mentioning? Thanks! ~ Dan's Friend (talk) 09:06, 22 February 2015 (EST)
Beta textures
I'm aware of a beta texture used on the Life Bottles which made them look like straight beakers with Dan's face on them, before they were changed to their finalized crooked feature-less appearance seen in the commercial versions. Anyone got screenshots? ~ Cid Silverwing (talk) 01:49, 13 February 2016 (EST)
Too Minute a Difference?
I'm planning on adding a bunch of stuff. Here are the things I'm not sure are relevant.
- In the Japanese version, you press the Accept button to advance the selected Control scheme. In the others, you use the d-pad. Seems like a really small change.
- The mausoleum basement (with the heart) has an empty indent in the wall directly across from the copper shield's indent. That's probably just a little known detail, though.
What do you think? ~ Lazlo52 (talk) 19:36, 25 April 2016 (EDT)
