New Cheats?

While playing around in RALibRetro on the Genesis version, I found 3 separate codes that I can't seem to figure out their purpose. At address 0x0001cc, you can see a counter going up for this input: On the pause screen, hit Down, Right, A, C, Up, Left, A. This will unpause the game and set 0x0001d2 from 00 to 01. Likewise, on 0x0001ca, if you pause and hit C, Right, Up, Down, it will unpause and set 0x0001d2 to 02. Finally, on 0x0001c8, on pause you can hit Down, Up, Left, which will unpause the game and set 0x0001d2 back to 00. I tried many different button combos during gameplay to try and see if it did anything, but I didn't notice anything different. Maybe it's a leftover? The fact that it's near the debug counter at 0x0001ce and the debug state at 0x0001d0, it's hard not to imagine it's a cheat of some sort, or was meant to be at some point. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by AfroRyan (talk • contribs)
