There isn't much that's unknown that is currently known. Might change, might not.
WE'LL SEE.
So how did you guys manage to emulate the arcade version so well with no graphical hoo-haas that I got? MightyKombat 09:42, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
- Doesn't Demul play the game okay? I wouldn't know, my computer is crap and barely runs newer games. :p // Foxhack 12:56, 31 May 2012 (EDT)
- I'll need to look into this, thanks guys. MightyKombat 10:40, 1 June 2012 (EDT)
- Seconded, I would like to know as well. --Jesuszilla 18:38, 5 July 2012 (EDT)
- The Gamecube version (CVS2EO) also emulates well in Dolphin -HsienKo 20:36, 5 July 2012 (EDT)

For some reason, it doesn't emulate at full speed but this is the most correct graphical settings for the original game.

Since CFJ is built on the same engine as CvS2, it might also be worth looking into to see if the 3rd and 4th teammates can be done there as well.
I'm pretty sure EX grooves were not cut. Some Japanese cabinets supported bringing in Dreamcast VMUs and I think the Japanese version supports ex grooves.
One interesting thing for regional differences is that the JP version has hundreds of unique win quotes that were never translated in the West. Everyone has a quote for when they beat each character and a quote for their partner if they play a ratio match (or the second character if they have a team of 3). The west just got a handful of generic quotes for everyone instead.
