Miles Edgeworth sprites

I ripped these a while ago. It's Miles Edgewroth's walking frames but the last frame is the last used walking frame, incomplete. --Megarockexe 23:41, 20 August 2012 (EDT)

  • Good find! The last one is definitely unused: the shading is incomplete. It is worth posting, i think. Montas1992 13:33, 21 August 2012 (EDT)

Demo

Capcom released a demo for this game as a Flash game as well as a Nintendo Channel download that I think have some differences from the final. Nintendo Channel is unfortunately no longer online, but the Flash demo still exists. From what I can recall about the Nintendo Channel demo what you do in the Flash demo is more or less the same. Obviously the Nintendo Channel demo would be ideal, but it's no longer up, perhaps it's worth looking into?

I'm new to all this "unused content" stuff so I really don't know how to extract data from the Flash game, but at the very least I'll look for differences for the core game and post here --MrU 20:27, 30 July 2015 (EDT)

EDIT I've only played a little so far but it seems like a LOT of small differences, so many before you actually start your Investigation even begins let alone throughout the whole demo! To sum what I've found so far up: It's very possible that some of the changes were made in account of this being a demo. Many text changes might have been made to streamline things though it really affects the portrayal of the characters (Gumshoe seems uncharacteristically competent in the demo with how straightly he gives info in the dialogue o_o). The opening movie skips right ahead to Edgeworth and the Forensics people rather than have the sequence of Edgeworth finding the body, which also results in the Jacket Frame sequence not being present. However, some changes are undeniably unfinished aspects, like the lack of music cuts, Tricks and Gimmicks and Tricks and Baroque being combined as one song, more minor and typographical dialogue changes, differences in the overworld sprites, and text boxes always being on the bottom of the screen in the demo (some text boxes in the final are on the top). Also, this might just be Flash acting up, but some of the flashing and fade effects are also different in this version.

Again it would be ideal if we could somehow find the data for the Nintendo Channel version of this that would be ideal. --MrU 21:54, 30 July 2015 (EDT)
