Is this page necessary?
Is the content on this page really exclusive to the Wii release? Are these not in the PlayStation 2 version? Should we merge this page with the PlayStation 2 version? Make it a subpage of the PlayStation 2 page? What's the deal here? -OlimarRocks 17:30, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- I don't see any of the Wii's unused content in the PS2 page though? If you have evidence both versions contain the same unused content, then talk to an admin.ReyVGM (talk) 20:51, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- That's what I'm confused about; it doesn't make sense that the Wii version has more unused content. It's well known that the Wii version's credits were removed because the team porting the game, ReadyAtDawn, didn't have access to Clover's assets during (at least a majority of) development, so they couldn't remove the Clover logo, which would cause legal trouble. So if they didn't have the used, assets, how could they have gotten the unused ones? Another thing to point out is that the unused map on the PS2 page isn't on here. So if they somehow did get a hold of the unused assets, why only some? I really want to look into it more myself, but I unfortunately don't have the tools nor the time to. I'm also frankly intimidated by TCRF's standards, and I want to do this game that means so much to me justice, heh. But considering how much we have at our fingertips (I mentioned some of it here), I think it'd neat if people started looking into it. Again, I really want to be the one to spearhead it, but again, I can't. -OlimarRocks 22:30, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, unless someone deepdives and finds all the unused content in both games, then there's nothing that can be done right now with the content that's on the page. Once both games are documented, if the amount of unused content is similar, then the pages can be merged. But right now, whoever found the unused content, only searched on the Wii version. As for the credits stuff, the entry is not listed under the "unused" section, but under the "regional differences" section. ReyVGM (talk) 23:08, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
