Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is both an enhanced remake of Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment and an entirely new game in a single package.

Unused Text

base.psarc\common\msg\fp5

Lines for Yui switching. These go unused as Yui cannot enter combat.

So, to switch. OK!
Switching!
...Er.
Uh-oh...
Cannot find the timing!

Debug Settings

The file hud_settings.ini contains the following text, but unfortunately it itself also seems to be unused.

ENABLE = 0
HUD = 1
GPU_HUD = 1
CPU_HUD = 1
TTY = 0
CSVTTY = 0
FILE = 0
FILENAME = pa_report

Unused Textures

base.psarc\vita\adv\chr\21108

Texture 0 in this archive contains an unused "side" view of Philia with a corrupted palette. It would have been used during the ending cutscene, but Philia only ever uses her "front" facing texture instead.

Revisional Differences

Screenshots

When the game was remastered for PS4 and PC as Re: Hollow Fragment, the opening cutscene was updated to take place in December 2024 instead of 2021.

Regional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Check if anything is translated so poorly the meaning changes.

The Asian release has a notoriously bad English translation that was cleaned up in the US and European releases.
