The Japan-only sequel to the arcade game known overseas as Kung Fu Master, or just plain old Kung Fu. Sadly lacking in both Spartans and Xs.

It's unclear if Irem had the rights to the Spartan X name for this game as it's a license of the film of the same name.

Select Mode

Change ROM address 0x1FB5A to 05 to replace the title screen with this disabled debug menu. Press A, B, Up, or Down to modify the currently highlighted option, Select to highlight the next option, and Start to start the game. The options are as follows:

  • STAGE: Stage select.
  • REMAIN: Number of lives.
  • MODE: Turns invincibility ON or OFF. You will pass through enemies and items when enabled, though you can still pick up items by kicking them.
  • LEVEL: Unknown; can be set from 00-07.
