Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is the spiritual sequel to the PlayStation game Tail Concerto. Also had 100 versions of an advertisement broadcast in 8 hours.

• The Japanese version uses a different logo and copyright message ("NBGI" is short for "Namco Bandai Games Inc."), and has a brighter background on the Top Screen.
• The US release bundled all the DLC quests in the cartridge, and as such the "Quest Download" feature was removed.
