Sakura Taisen 3: Paris wa Moeteiru ka
Sakura Taisen 3: Paris wa Moeteiru ka |
---|
Also known as: Sakura Wars 3 This game has unused graphics. |
Sakura Taisen 3: Paris wa Moeteiru ka takes place in the eponymous French capital, with a completely new set of characters and a bigger and better adventure just for the Dreamcast (until a PC port landed in 2003 and a PS2 port in 2005 respectively). However, the game's release was two months after Sega called it quits from the console market, which led to development of the fourth game being redone from scratch.

- Hold L2 for Debug SPY (Heap)
- Hold R1 for Debug SPY (Buffer)
- Hold L2 for Debug SPY (Map&Disk)
- Hold Select for Debug SPY (Snd&Mv)
Map Select
Maps 01-17 are the battle stages. Maps 18-25 are the stages of the minigame Koubu Knuckle. Press X to start the map.
For the battle stages, the game will immediately start in the scenario, skipping the intermission screen.
When the Koubu Knuckle minigame ends, the game will return to this menu.
Debug SPY (Heap)
This shows a few memory regions in the game.
Debug SPY (Buffer)
This doesn't appear to show any information.
Debug SPY (Map&Disk)
It's unclear what this is. This might be a leftover from the Dreamcast version.
Debug SPY (Snd&Mv)
This menu allows you to play SFX, voices, and BGM here. That option dosen't work because H.I.C. removed ADX technology from this port.
CD Warnings (Dreamcast)
If you play the disc for the Dreamcast version on a CD player (other than a Dreamcast), three warnings featuring the voices of the members of the Paris Combat Revue's Flower Division will play, with the voice of Erica Fontaine on the first one, the voices of Glycine Bleumer and Lobelia Carlini on the second and Coquelicot and Hanabi Kitaoji on the third respectively.
Disc 1 | Erica: "Could it be you're trying to play this disc on a regular CD player? You can't do that! So said the Lord, 'This is a Dreamcast disc. You must not play it with a regular CD player!' So make sure you enjoy it on your Dreamcast, okay? Alright, see you again soon!" | |

Disc 2 | Glycine: "You there! Don't you know this is a Dreamcast disc?!" Lobelia: "Does it really matter? Either way, it's their CD player that'll break." | |
Disc 3 | Coquelicot: "Hey, Hanabi, looks like this person's trying to play this disc with a regular CD player." Hanabi: "Oh dear, you shouldn't do that. This is a Dreamcast disc, so you must not play it with a regular CD player." |
