Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon (after a bizarre accident involving his dog named Pep, a butterfly, and apparently rocket-grade fireworks) ... but he comes back, complete with the requisite "new friend" who is immediately reduced to occasional cameo appearances. At least he got it better off than Fatty Bear.

The tracks and their names are from the 3DO version, but equivalent data for these exists in all releases.

PUTTM11		Seems too short to be one of the main moon themes; possibly had some specialized use?
PUTTM26		Variation on a theme used in several other tracks.
PUTTM31		Probably meant to be moon surface music.

PUTTM35		Slower, melody-less version of the Man in the Moon's theme.
PUTTM36		Plays when Putt-Putt gets blasted into space. The cutscene is only about 30 seconds long, so the last bit is never heard.

DOS

This track exists only in the DOS version (which doesn't use external sound files, so there's no associated filename).

	A strange mashup of the outer space music and one of the moon themes. The official soundtrack titles the track "Land (Unused)" and places it directly after the outer space music and before the first song heard on the moon, suggesting it was intended for the cutscene in which Putt-Putt touches down on the moon surface.

3DO

These tracks are only in the Game Boy version ... okay, maybe not.

The actual title music file is just "PUTTM38.DMU"; this file and the next one are the only ones with extra extensions. It's not referenced by the music-playing scripts, so the game can't even try to play it.
PUTTM38.DMU.with1		The regular title music, but with the first couple of measures cut out. Like the above, it's not referenced by the game.

This version has a few other oddities with its music files: the file numbering skips tracks 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 22, 30, and 37, and the game's song file list contains an entry for "PUTTM37.DMU", even though no such file exists.

Dialogue

These lines for the newscaster on the radio aren't used for obvious reasons. Probably the first of the series' many developer in-jokes, which would come to full fruition in the sequel.

Debug Output

Almost all SCUMM-based Humongous games contain debug console output for various game bits and bobs (starting and stopping music, values of important variables, etc.). These aren't normally displayed; the simplest way to view them is to run the game in ScummVM and set its debug level to 0 or higher.

Error Handler

He can't talk to you. The SCUMM DIETY.

The invalid conversation handler from Putt-Putt Joins the Parade carried over to this game. The easiest way to trigger it is by forcing script 11 to run in ScummVM's debugger.
