PokeDaisuki leaks

A leaker named PokeDaisuki released some leaked prototype Pokémon, but he took down the website because he doesn't want to get in trouble with Game Freak. Still, his discoveries have still been archived on a Nintendo Everything article. I'm not sure if it goes here or the 1997 section since most of the Pokemon designs (including most of the scrapped Pokémon) come from there. However, there are some unused designs and other quirks that only appear in this leak.

  • Honoguma and Unown A have duplicate sprites for some reason. Also, Ampharos appears in both its beta "cute" design and its final design.
  • Several designs which resemble official Pokémon introduced in later generations, like a fox (Fennekin), flying squirrel (Emolga), a bagworm that evolves into a moth (the bagworm may have inspired Pineco but both resemble Burmy and Mothim), a baby pachycephalosaur (Cranidos) and koala (Komala).
  • Beta Cyndaquil, who has sharp spikes instead of fire. It coexisted with the Honoguma line, so it may have been another wild encounter before replacing Honoguma as the Fire starter. (It also resembles Alolan Sandslash.)
  • Manbo1 is part of an evolutionary line with Ikari and Grotess in the Spaceworld demo, but here it's grouped with two bigger sunfish Pokémon, which are possibly its intended evolutions. This explains why it's codenamed with a "1" at the end of its name.
  • Stantler is present, while it wasn't in the Spaceworld demo.
  • Natu and Xatu's unreleased middle evolution.
  • Other animal Pokémon include a larger elephant (Donphan evo?), kiwi bird, scorpion, a chick that evolves into a treble clef bird, a dog resembling Puddi but with a unicorn horn and bipedal (may have been Puddi's intended evolution), belemnite, pufferfish (may be related to Qwilfish and Shibirefugu), frog, Beedrill-like mosquito, flying ant and a delivery stork. There are also youkai-based Pokémon like a tsuchinoko (maybe related to Dunsparce) and obake.
  • There are also some pretty weird scrapped Pokémon, like a legless mammal, an ugly flower (possibly inspiring Cherrim), a skeletal dinosaur, a Viking ship + Loch Ness Monster hybrid and a Farfetch'd-like bird with its leek merged into its body.

I had no involvement with these leaks, I'm just really passionate when finding new info. The preceding unsigned comment was added by EventideEndymion (talk • contribs)
