Weapons, maps

The cheat code "impulse 1" will give you the crowbar and the SMG. You can switch to the SMG by clicking "3" and the fire button, as you would in the final game with fast weapon switching off. I haven't found a way to reach the crowbar with a button combination, so you might not be able to switch back to that if you switch away from it. All weapons seem to have infinite ammo, and there doesn't seem to be any way to get the HEV suit in single-player.

There are a bunch of "dead ends", so to speak, where the game attempts to load a map that doesn't exist from one that does exist in the final game. Taking the elevator in c3a2 crashes the game, and there's at least one door that you can't open in c1a1 behind which is a loading screen to another map that doesn't exist. Decompiling the maps might give the file names these were supposed to lead to. --Rapstah 07:08, 9 January 2013 (EST)

I have found out that you need to "Zoom Out" Using the minus key to get the HUD. (I'm using a "Fixed Version" In GL mode, Running from the Gaben.CFG, if that changes anything) --Link2006 15:50, 9 January 2013 (EST)

About the nonexistent maps, from what I tried, if you enter the console after it "crashed", it will tell you what map it tried to load. I haven't tried every area but I know the elevator in c3a2 goes to a map called "c3a3". Kargaroc 21:06, 25 January 2013 (EST)

There's a large amount of content that's not present here. The Half-Life Wikia has a good rundown of it ify ou guys want to transpose it. [1] Vekter 20:19, 28 June 2013 (EDT)

Other prototypes?

Can you elaborate on these? I've been searching for any information I can for quite a while and I can't find them. --Kargaroc (talk) 17:29, 8 April 2014 (EDT)

I believe they are talking about Half-Life:Day one. I'd look into it, but my computer can't run it.--Clone5184 (talk) 10:43, 15 July 2014 (EDT)

Bob

Should we add a bob to this page? Just curious. Clone5184 (talk) 17:19, 8 July 2014 (EDT)

Bobs aren't normally added to prototype articles. --AquaBat (talk) 17:47, 8 July 2014 (EDT)

Panthereye Noises

As I was browsing through the sound files, I came across one labeled "panthereye". I've played through this prototype, and I remember seeing panthereyes, but I don't recall hearing them. Should I upload the sounds and add them to the article?Clone5184 (talk) 14:58, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

Unused models?

I have found several interesting models that I am unable to view:

bluedoc.mdl
greendoc.mdl
reddoc.mdl

Considering that the player is called "doctor.mdl", I think it's safe to assume that these were to be used for the multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, I am unable to open these model files. Would this be okay to add to the article?Clone5184 (talk) 15:29, 10 July 2014 (EDT)

Subsections

I'm going to split this page into 3 sub sections: alpha v0.52, day one, and uplink. If you don't like the changes, feel free to revert them.Clone5184 (talk) 11:46, 21 July 2014 (EDT)
