The demo version of The Curse of Monkey Island contains two truncated cutscenes which are different from the final release.
Opening

The music is different in the demo. The map is clearer and its top-right corner is folded. It quickly cuts to a view of Monkey Island. In the final version, the map is more blurry and stretched. It's animated to get swept away by the wind.

In the demo, the subtitles are large and yellow. In the final version, clouds were added and the subtitles are white and no longer hardcoded. Monkey Island has a murkier color palette.

Clouds were added and Guybrush was brightened in the final version. The bumper car's shadow was reduced and Guybrush is closer to the viewer.

Guybrush is much clearer in the demo version. In the final, water effects (and video artifacts) were added. The bumper car was animated to bob up and down. The sky was changed from blue to green.

The color palette for the ship scene is noticeably darkened in the final version. The cloud highlights and the light near the skull were removed. LeChuck's hand was placed behind the belaying pin. The small rip in the sail was changed.

The background was changed to more obviously resemble a fort wall. A small part of the bush was color-corrected to become the sky.
From there, the dialogue skips to "Throw him in the hold, I'll finish him after the battle" and the player gains control of Guybrush.
Ending
After an in-game animation of Guybrush crashing through a door, the ending cutscene plays.

In the demo, Guybrush drifts much more quickly and further away in the bumper car. Water effects, debris, gradient, and a fire effect were added to the title in the final version. The logo was slightly re-oriented and a tiny trademark symbol was added.
