April 29 2000 Build
| To do: Make a playthrough video to show what players at E3 would have experienced. |
This build is not very different from the previous one, other than minor fixes such as Youngster Joey, Spinarak, and Meowth having their proper names. However, this build is notable for very likely being the build which attendees of E3 2000 played at Nintendo's booth. Two of the same NPCs from the April 24 build are now blocking the opening to Dark Cave and the gate to Violet City, preventing the player from progressing. Additionally, all landmark names on the map have been replaced with "TOWN MAP", likely to hide the names to players of the demo. This is nearly identical to how the Spaceworld 1999 demo was structured. These NPCs were removed in most subsequent builds. Cheating to bypass the NPCs shows that the translation hadn't progressed any since the last build, and much of the game is still untranslated.
Miscellaneous Changes
- Some errors in the alphabetical listing order have been fixed.
- Radio text is partially implemented, but doesn't continue past the first two lines.

July 26 2000 Build
Compiled 19 days after the final build. Similar to the April 29 2000 build, this has the two NPCs blocking the entrance to Dark Cave and Violet City. This build uniquely has a "sydney" suffix in its filename.
