So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The Optimisation Test build is a second revision of the previous build, which cuts the data.win file in half, mostly thanks to the switch from Game Maker Studio to GMS2, allowing the level collision to be redone with all the blocks resized, instead of all being 1x1 tiles.

General Differences

  • Peppino is using his template yellow clothes by default.
  • Debug information is on screen at all times.
  • Lap 2 portals have been added in, acting as they do in the final game.
  • Peppino can now run at Mach 4 speed.
  • The Dash button is inexplicably unable to be re-binded, so on keyboard the player will still have to use the shift key.
  • Peppino will occasionally move diagonally up and away from a small block if he breaks one by performing his grab move.
  • Peppino will get softlocked if he tries to break a big block with a superjump.
