Audio
Unused Music
In the game files in "AUDIO\PS2\MUSIC\" there are some unused audio files.
TEST1.VB
File dated February 24, 2002. Judging by the sound of it, it was possibly a main theme placeholder for the menu.
COMBAT1.VB
This audio is not used in the game, but based on its name, it should be used in combat.
Curiously, in the PCSX2 console when starting the game, it shows a message that two audio files are missing from the CD, which are COMBAT.VB and COMBAT_A.VB, in the prototype they are named with numbers.
COMBAT3.VB
Another variation of combat audio.
COMBAT4.VB
Another audio that according to its name is for combat. It sounds the same as the main menu theme of the prototype but at a faster tempo.
Unused Sounds
In the same location in the files, there are also some unused sound files.
AMBLOOP.VB
A file that, as its name indicates, was probably used as an ambient sound effect in the early stages of development, is dated March 15, 2002.
EXECUTE1.VB
A sound file that according to its name, It was meant to be used for the executions, but in the prototype it is not used. It is repeated 4 times in the game files.
Placeholder Voicelines
Before they got Braix Cox, John Doman, etc, The voice lines had some of the developers talking over at this time.
