This build of Glover 2 has a filename of Piko 08-02-1999.z64.

General Differences

  • Glover will now perform an uppercut attack when pressing B.
  • Pointing has been moved to R.
  • There is still no music, only sound effects.
  • The flower fields found in the hub world can now be walked through.
  • The game still lacks a boot screen.
  • The player begins outside above water near the bridge via a checkpoint from Glover. The blue cauldron is still present.

Graphical Differences

  • Many textures and some models have been changed for this build. Bizarrely, many models which had textures previously do not in this later build.

  • The UI has been updated, it now includes hearts and a potion count.

  • Some objects are still missing textures.

Map Differences

Some aspects of the outdoor hub world have changed in this build.

  • There are eight potions drops (four each of blue and yellow) floating near the fountain.
  • There are two different versions of the 1-up gloves: the sparkling one grants a 1-up, while the non-sparkling one functions as an empty health container.

  • The bridge has a different design and textures compared to the previous build:

  • Still no enemies in the hub world.
  • The tall grass patches are not present.
  • The cornfield is still inaccessible.
  • Some objects are still floating.
  • The surrounding mountains appear much more blocky than the previous build.
  • The shed door can now be broken using a boulder.
