So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
This cactus is UNDER CONSTRUCTION
This article is a work in progress.
...Well, all the articles here are, in a way. But this one moreso, and the article may contain incomplete information and editor's notes.
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Actually Get Around To Adding Information

Project Zomboid is an open world zombie survival sandbox game where there's no real goal other than to die and get progressively better as you do so. Created by Canadian & British developers Chris "Lemmy" Simpson, Andy "Binky" Hodgetts and Marina "MashPotato" Siu-Chong in 2009 with Nick "Nickenstein" Cowen joining the team some time later in 2011. originally released as an early access demo in 2011 on the website ModDB.

Unused Tiles

Flatscreen Television

In a video from the 10th of September 2013, While showcasing the Auto Zoom mechanic you can see in the background living room what appears to be a Flat screen TV

Potentially this means that either the game was supposed to be set in the 2000s (2003?) or in modern time (2013)

Unused Items

Chainsaw

The Chainsaw currently has the same stats and icon as a Crowbar, it is fully modelled but has no mechanics. The swinging animations are also bugged

Bunny Suit

The Bunny Suit has the icon of a pair glasses but is otherwise fully functional.

Blacksmithing

There is a hidden skill in the game called Blacksmithing. There are crafting recipes and items related to said skill. Even skill books. Originally Metalworking and Blacksmithing were meant to be one skill, but were split up. Levelling Blacksmithing is currently impossible without modding even if you spawn in the recipes, as there is no anvil or furnace on the map and they are not buildable.
