Development Timeline

2015

• January 14 - Game is revealed in the Japanese Nintendo Direct, with the first gameplay footage.
• April 1 - More gameplay footage is shown in the Japanese Nintendo Direct.
• June - The 3-minute music video for the game's vocal song in the Honeybee Remix, "I'm a lady now" featuring Hotzmic is released in Japan.
• June 11 - Game is released in Japan.

2016

• March 14 - Game is announced in the US.
• June 15 - Game is released in the US as part of its appearance during Nintendo's Treehouse Livestream presentation at E3.
• October 21 - Game is released in Europe.
• October 22 - Game is released in Australia.
• December 1 - Game is released in Korea.

The background is green with spots. The final game removed the spots and changed the background color to purple.

Air Rally

In the April 1 Japanese Nintendo Direct, this game's BGM was originally slightly higher in pitch. In the final game, the BGM's pitch is slightly lower.

Honeybee Remix

An extended version of the song used in this remix; "I'm a lady now", was released as a music video in Japan before the game's release, and is two minutes longer in length than the 1-minute version used in the final game.
