Nintendo 64 Version
JoyPad #088
A preview for the Nintendo 64 version of the game from an extra feature of French magazine JoyPad #088.
- Every screenshot shows debugging text at the top right. The number corresponds to the room number followed by the background number.
- On the screenshot of the basketball court: the logo of the made up soda brand can be seen on the benches. This logo is gone in the final Nintendo 64 version and only appears in the original NTSC PlayStation versions. This tells us that development of the Nintendo 64 port most likely started using the original version of the game, rather than the DualShock Version, and the devs updated certain things along the way to match the re-release such as getting rid of the made-up soda brand and adding a timer for The 4th Survivor.
Joypad #090
Another preview of the Nintendo 64 version. More screenshots showing debug text, most likely from the same build.
Console + #090
Notice the soda machine in the screenshot at the bottom of the second page. Just like with the logo on the bench in the Joypad #088 article, the red parts were taken out in the final Nintendo 64 version and were already missing in previous releases. This comforts the idea that the latest version of the game was not used as a base for the Nintendo 64 version.
