While it is not depicted in any known prerelease material, Need for Speed: Most Wanted of 2012 was once VERY different to what it is now. Its original title was Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2, and it focused on being a sequel to the original NFSMW from 2005. Over time and with gradual development away from the Most Wanted 2 idea, it became its current controversial self.
