Visual Changes
(2001) Pre-Release Screenshots - Monopoly Tycoon
In the above three images, the signage on each city building is different. The grid map in the bottom-right-hand corner has a different outline compared to the retail game.
Near Monopoly City's centre, the water fountain is featured in the background with water, however the water is broken in the retail game.
Near the grid map, it lacks a fast forward button and the statistics button. Featured in tutorials is Rich Uncle Pennybags as an animated 3D character head.
(2000-2001) Late Development Screenshots - Monopoly City/Monopoly Tycoon
A late build of the game is presented in the above three images. Roofs are missing and roads are very different. The User Interface (UI) is very experimental with a "This is a test" message scrolling the news bar. All UI icons are different to the early development icons. The main town hall remains mostly intact as it is in the retail game including the baseball stadium in the distance. Currently the navigation/grid map is located in the top-left corner compared to the retail game.
