Unreleased Characters
While only Fool, Magician, High Priestess, Chariot, Devil, Star, and World are present in the final game, the rest of the arcanas were considered to appear. It is unknown when they were scrapped, though some concept art for the early iterations is included in the art gallery of Magical Drop Plus 1!. The artist of the first Magical Drop has released their designs here.
Fool's Animal
Also on the above website is a dog companion for Fool which is nowhere to be seen in the final game. In subsequent games, a different Fool has a cat companion.
