Half-Life 2: Aftermath
The game was originally named Half-Life 2: Aftermath, but was renamed to Episode One after plans were made to make the game episodic. The trailer for Aftermath features some early versions of scenes that would eventually make it into the released game.
Devshots
A video showing an evolution of various areas seen in Episode One throughout development, named "devshots". Note that the original video had the filename aftermath_devshots, pointing towards the game's original title.
Trailers
One of four teaser trailers released by Valve via Steam in 24 May 2006. This teaser was released with the tagline "Alyx. Cool under pressure." These 4 teasers emphasize on Alyx's role as a companion and helpful ally to the player.
The second teaser trailer, released via Steam in 25 May 2006 with the tagline "Alyx hates zombies. Even more than you do.". Alyx is shown attacking Zombies with her gun and with hand-to-hand combat.
The third teaser trailer, released via Steam in 30 May 2006 with the tagline "Alyx. She doesn't have a crowbar, but she's got your back.". Alyx is shown using a mounted gun to kill Combine Soldiers.
The last teaser, released via Steam in 31 May 2006 with the tagline "Alyx. DØg's best friend.". This time, Alyx is seen talking with Dog before it sends Alyx and Gordon to the Citadel in a broken-down van.
