Prerelease:Five Nights at Freddy's 4 (Windows)
This page details pre-release information and/or media for Five Nights at Freddy's 4 (Windows).
To do: Discuss things mentioned in the official interview with Scott Cawthon, the developer of the game. |
Nightmare Foxy
In Nightmare Foxy's teaser, he is shown to have a long metallic tongue. His tongue was never revealed in-game, aside from his appearance in the main menu screen. According to series creator Scott Cawthon, the reason this was removed was because he felt that it "wasn't scary enough".
Nightmare Mangle
In its teaser for the Halloween update of Five Nights at Freddy's 4, Nightmare Mangle is shown to be capable of hanging from the ceiling, similar to its original counterpart. It also sports a several amount of hanging strings of wires. However, neither of these are shown in-game.
Old Jumpscare Noise
In the game's first trailer, the jumpscare noise Nightmare Bonnie emits is completely different to the final version seen in game. The first part uses a different sound sample, which was louder and almost animal-like. However, the other half still uses the edited version of the first game's XScream audio sample like in the final.
