Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky/Unused Animations

To do: Provide the rest of the unused animaions. If possible, try to load these in-game. Fix the timing for certain animations.

With many Pokémon that were originally from Rescue Team, these Pokémon's animations were leftover in the game, along with some unused animations from the original Time & Darkness.

Unused Animations

Drowzee

This unused animation was most likely intended for one of the cutscenes involving Azurill's nightmare.

Rescue Team Leftovers

To do: Check if the unused animations from the previous game are still there.

Gengar

This animation may have been intended for the cutscene when the hero and partner return to Pokémon Square after being on the run, or the Murky Cave event.

Machop, Cubone and Psyduck

Pose (Up)

An up-facing variant of the pose animation, that would later be used here, however due to these Pokémon being no longer playable, this animation goes unused normally without a starter modifier code.

Special01

An unused animation of the hero or partner seemingly walking carefully or tiptoeing across something.

RaiseArms

Special0

Meant to be used during the Mt. Steel cutscene, when the partner looks down the cliff.

Lombre

Special0 is an animation used in the previous game for when Lombre picks up the newspaper, used for a cutscene where you come back to Pokémon Square after discovering the Ninetales Legend.

Special1 is an animation used in the previous game for when Lombre is near the newspaper, used for a cutscene where you come back to Pokémon Square after discovering the Ninetales Legend.
