Original Tutorial Scout
For the first three years of the game the player would have to do a free tutorial scout featuring Whitney & Miltank before they could continue to Chapter 2 of the Story Mode. In version 2.21.0 this would ultimately be changed to Blue & Pidgeot in preperation for the Trainer Lodge being added a few months later. In addition all players were given a free Blue & Pidgeot if their account had been created before the change.
Original Daily Scout
For the first 5 years of the game the Daily Scout gave players 10 free pulls for useful items, ranging from Sync Pair upgrade items to Skip Tickets to Pearls to exchange for coins. Generally just a daily task to complete. During the game's 5th Anniversary starting September 1st 2024 the old Daily Scout was swapped out for a different debatably worse Daily Scout which would allow players to get one random Sync Pair everyday day instead. The rates were hidden in-game but could be found in the game's code. Sync Pairs could only be pulled from the standard Spotlight pool.

Sync Pairs
Items
|
Old Items
All the items listed here can no longer be obtained through gameplay. Most of these items were retired due to gameplay involving how Sync Pairs would be leveled up.
Legendary Events
During the first two years of the game Legendary Events would be hosted for a limited time where you could obtain Sync Pairs with Legendary Pokemon. As of version 2.26.0 they were replaced by the similar Legendary Adventures. There are however a number of assets which would be used in Legendary Events but not the later Legendary Adventures versions. There are also stages which can no longer be played, both in Singleplayer and in Co-op, though the majority of these are similar to stages in the Legendary Adventure, some are exclusive to certain runs of the Legendary Events.
Intro Movies
When logging into the game the day a Legendary Event starts the player would be greeted by a short unskippable 10 second cinematic followed by the first cutscene from the event playing automatically. Legendary Adventures cuts out the intro movies, now making the intros entirely unused.

A bonus map image was added once the format shifted from using Co-op battles to using the Prize Box event style.
This set of images was used inside the Box Scout during certain runs of the events.
Tutorial Images
During certain Legendary Events these images would be displayed to guide the player on what to do.

In Lurking Shadow players could play Take Down Giovanni! Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 in order to get 800 vouchers to obtain the Giovanni & Mewtwo Sync Pair, Custom Vouchers, Custom Super Vouchers and Custom Training Machines in order to power-up the Sync Pair. In Round 1 & 2 the enemy side consists of Giovanni, Honchkrow, Sigilyph, Crobat and Dusclops. In Round 3 & 4 this changes to Giovanni, Solrock and Lunatone. When this event was first available enemy Trainers' Sync Moves were able to drop the player's raised stats to 0 unless they had a passive which prevents stat drops.
Some changes were made to Lurking Shadow when the event was rerun the second time. A new stage called Take Down Team Break! Part 2 was made available after obtaining Giovanni in A Questionable Alliance which featured a Nidoqueen, Hariyama and Medicham which were weak to Giovanni & Mewtwo's attacks and acted as a way to obtain Custom Vouchers, Custom Super Vouchers and Custom Training Machines for players who already completed the Event. This stage would not become a part of the Legendary Adventure version of Lurking Shadow, however it can still be found as a stage in the Battle Rally.
In The Beast That Devours the Sun players could play Take Down Solgaleo! Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 in order to obtain the Player & Solgaleo Sync Pair, Custom Vouchers, Custom Super Vouchers and Custom Training Machines in order to power-up the Sync Pair. In Round 1 & 2 and Round 3 & 4 the enemy side consits of Solgaleo, Staravia and Slugma. Solgaleo, In Round 3 & 4 this changes to Rapidash and Houndoom. All of these are "wild" Pokemon and have unique UI and VS Images. All but two of these images can still be seen in-game in game, being Staravia's. When the event was turned into an adventure, only the latter team of Solgaleo, Rapidash and Houndoom would be used for Take Down Solgaleo.
In The Dragon That Rules the Sky players could play Take Down Zinnia! Round 1, 2, 3 and 4 in order to obtain the Zinnia & Rayquaza Sync Pair, Custom Vouchers, Custom Super Vouchers and Custom Training Machines in order to power-up the Sync Pair. In Round 1 & 2 the enemy side consists of Zinnia, 2 Vibrava and 2 Staravia. In Round 3 & 4 this changes to Zinnia, Aurorus and Turtonator. None of these stages are present in the Legendary Adventures version of the event. Additionally on it's first run two stages called Take Down Team Break! Part 1 & 2 were available after completing A New Beginning which featured a Turtonator, Vibrava and Pinsir which were weak to Zinnia and Rayquaza's Attacks. This stage was not playable in the 2nd run of the event and is not available in the Legendary Adventures version of the event.
In Pure Hearts and Rainbow Wings players could play Ho-oh's Challenge: Part 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in order to obtain the Silver & Ho-oh Sync Pair and Custom Training Machines in order to power-up the Sync Pair. The enemy teams in this part of the event were carried over to the Legendary Adventure. After completing A Pure Heart Revealed three stages named The Road to Greatness: Part 1, 2 and 3 would become available. In Part 1 the eenmy side consists of Korrina and 4 Gravler. In Part 2 the enemy side consists of Pryce (weak to Grass-Type attacks instead of Electric), Togedemaru and Roserade. In Part 3 the enemy side consists of Brendan (weak to Fire-Type attacks instead of Poison), Walrein and Dustox. All the enemies in these stages were weak to Silver & Ho-oh's attacks (Overheat, Solar Beam, Sacred Fire and Power-Hungry Sacred Fire). These stages did not return when the event was rerun and is excluded from the Legendary Adventure version but can be found in the Battle Rally as a stage.
In New World Dilema not much was changed between the Legendary Event and Legendary Adventures version. In the first run of the event Take Down Cyrus! Round 6 did not exist. It was the last Legendary Event to require the use of Custom Buff Blends to level-up the Sync Pair as the Custom Uncap Items would be retired entirely after the 1st run of this event.
In Give and Take the player was able to use certain Sync Pairs to obtain Prize Box Coins faster. Lysandre & Yvetal had a 0.6x multiplier, Serena & Delphox, and Clemont & Helioptile had a 0.4x multiplier and Professor Sycamore & Xerneas and Claem & Meowstic had a 0.2x multiplier.
In Father or Foe the player was able to use certain Sync Pairs to obtain Prize Box Coins faster. N & Zekrom and Alder & Volcarona had a 0.6x multiplier, Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom, Elesa & Zebstrika and Burgh & Leavanny had a 0.4x multiplier and Skyla & Swanna, Ghetsis & Kyurem, Iris & Haxorus and Cheren & Stoutland had a 0.2x multiplier.
In Howling Shield of Eternity a stage called How to Dynamax could be played after completing Strongest Siblings. A set team of just Sygna Suit Leon & Eternatus could be used for this single stage. As the name describes it was a tutorial for how to use the new Max Moves introduced.
Inside the stage tuorial graphics would be displayed that aren't used elsewhere in the game.
Additionally the player was able to use certain Sync Pairs to obtain Prize Box Coins faster. Sygna Suit Leon & Eternatus and Leon & Charizard had a 0.6x multiplier, Piers & Obstagoon, Marnie & Morepeko and Raihan & Duraludon had a 0.4x multiplier and Hop & Zamzaenta, Professor Sycamore & Xerneas, Clair & Kingdra and Molayne & Dugtrio had a 0.2x multiplier. The stage Challenge Raihan could only be played once per day to obtain Prize Coins meanwhile it is a permanent part of the evnet in the Legendary Adventures version.
Legendary Event Coins
The following coin graphics were used in later reruns of the Legendary Events when the format changed to use the Prize Box. These coins aren't used anywhere else in the game since.
Event Maps
This style of Story event progression would be introduced with the Shining Star Story event and be subsequently used for Story events until Trials on the Isle where the event format would make it's last appearance. Players would have to obtain Travel Tokens from event stages in order to obtain Area Info and unlock new Battle stages in the event. The event format has not been used for any new events or reruns of existing events which initially had an event map.

Title Screens
Starting in version 2.12.5 it became possible for the title screen to change from the default title screen featuring the Player characters, Rosa, Brock, Lance, Red, Steven, Cynthia and Diantha to a entirely different title screen. This first started with the Kanto Villain Arc and has become a consistently updating part of the game since. As of version 2.24.0 another aspect would be added where one of the characters (with the exception of Red and Cynthia on the 3rd Anniversary Title Screen) featured on the Title Screen would say the game's name.
Kanto Villain Arc
Possibly the most unique title screen because it's not just a single image but instead plays a short animation where a purple flash appears followed by Giovanni and Mega Mewtwo Y, then followed by Red, Blue, Gigantamax Snorlax and Mega Aerodactyl appearing right after. Dynamax particles appear underneath the heroes. The assets for this can be found below and were only present in version 2.12.5 and version 2.13.0.

Event Titles
Some player profile titles can no longer be obtained as they were tied to one-time events. Titles gained at Top 500 and higher spot from Prestige Leaderboard events gain a added shining effect.
