Pizza Delivery Boy
Some weird pose. It's hard to tell what exactly is this supposed to be.
Another weird pose. Possibly an alternate ducking sprite.
Pizza boy falling with his hands raised.
Pizza boy squatting or pointing at something.
Enemies
Unused | Used |
---|---|
The boss from the second stage used to have a straight face. In the final version he has a grin instead.
A sprite of an old man from the third and fourth stages looking up.
A smaller version of the ghosts from the fifth stage with a hat.
An unused dog enemy. There are dogs in the game, but this one looks different.
Other
A witch who makes an appearance as one of the customers. Seems like she was supposed to appear somewhere other than the cutscenes.
Three unused background characters. The third one is missing his legs for some reason.
Early Jet Ski Section
Unused | Used |
---|---|
By changing address 0480's value to 09, you can access an earlier version of the jet ski section from the sixth stage. This version has a beach as the background rather than buildings and a different looking ocean. There could be more differences, but it's impossible to see the rest of this area because the pizza boy falls and dies as soon as the player enters it.
Also, since the boss fight has the same background as this section, is entirely possible that originally there was going to be an extra jet ski section before the boss fight.

Unused Music
Track #6 of the NSF file is not heard anywhere in the game. It sounds like it could be used in one stage. The only stages that share music are Stage 1 and Stage 2. Since Stage 2 is too short, maybe the developers thought innecesary to use this song and decided to reuse the music from Stage 1 instead. Besides that, it doesn't fit very well with Stage 2 (It sounds more appropiate for the final stage). Alternatively, it could be intended to a stage that didn't make it into the game.
