Save Support

While the game as published by Ubi Soft is unable to save the player's high scores or options, this is a limitation entirely enforced by hardware. According to Stewart Gilray, Binary9's director of development, this was likely a cost-cutting measure by the publisher:

We created the game to allow saves etc, but for some reason, I'm guessing budgetary, Ubisoft at the last minute decided to NOT manufacture the game with EEPROM save memory.

If run through alternative methods to the commercial cart (emulation, flash carts, etc.) the game will indeed save, just as originally intended.

Oddly enough I encourage people that play it to play it on a backup cart just so to allow saving.
