Outback Joey was the pack-in game for the obscure HeartBeat Catalyst, a peripheral that had sensors to detect heart rate, motion, and skin salinity levels for in-game feedback. The Catalyst ended up being more or less a flop, and as a result the games made for it - this, Outworld 2375 AD, and special versions of NHLPA Hockey '93 and PGA Tour Golf II - have since become some of the rarest Genesis titles.
It wasn't until June 2021 that Outback Joey was dumped (with the other three Catalyst titles following in June 2023), though it is currently only able to run on the BlastEm emulator.
