OneShot: the pancake episode is a feels kinda game available on Itch.io. It's a modified version of OneShot (2016), specifically the patch before the ru/it languages update. Being a heavily modified branch, it shares a lot of assets with the main game.

It was updated on July 8, 2024 adding features like the template .po for easier fan translation creation, debug mode, faster text automashing and in-game timer that automatically stops at the end cutscene.

  • Uploading like the entirety of OneShot (2016) image assets? I hope not.
  • Version differences
  • Unused parts of the used Autotiles/Tilesets/Character spritesheets.

Version Differences

  • All but 2 items were cut
  • .sai2 files were cut

Unused/Unseen Rooms

INIT

ID:001. This default sized map with no visuals is always the first one the game loads, the reason it's listed here is that its a black rectangle that gets obscured by a black rectangle? Uses a unique "INIT" tileset that uses no tileset graphic only the "black" autotile. INIT initiates the opening cutscene and then sends you to the cafe.

Red sky

ID:009. The Rue face drawing map copied from the base OneShot 2016. Stores all upper Refuge maps from the normal route and the "Tower deck" map.

The player is momentarily transported here under the cover of the completely blackened screen to reset Ling position after frying the pancakes. Stores all maps except for "INIT".

Cafe

ID:052. The non-solstice Cafe outdoors map copied from the base OneShot 2016. Stores all maps except for "INIT" and "Red sky".

Crashes the game if loaded because the "OnLittleCatFeet.ogg" BGM track and the floating arrow sign sprites it uses were not included in TPE. It also still has the transitions to the "Cafe inside" map and "Map48". "Map48" is the non-solstice "Elevator deck" map from the base OneShot 2016 and since it wasn't included in TPE using that transition would also crash the game.
