Notes:Disney's Toontown Online

This page contains notes for the game Disney's Toontown Online.

Opening Phase Files

Panda3D is required to open the files, which will work with any version.

• Create a new folder to store the extracted files.
• Go into the program files of Toontown Online, where the contents are found.
• Copy the phase_#.mf (the # representing numbers) files into the new folder.
• Open up the Command Prompt inside the folder, which can be done by double-clicking on the taskbar next to the Search (not on the letters), removing the current folder name and typing in "CMD".
• In the Command Prompt, type in multify -x -f phase_#.mf and replace the "#" with the number of the phase file you're extracting.

Textures can be easily viewed as compressed .JPG files, which are usually stored into multiple packs.

Exporting Models

To do: I tried this, but it doesn't work for me. Maybe someone else could help with this?

Panda3D, Blender and the .egg importer plugin is required.

• First, the model must be converted from .bam to .egg, and have their associated textures in the same folder, but can be stored in a separate folder in that folder.
• Open up the Command Prompt from inside the folder, with the same method from above, and type in bam2egg.exe bugRoomTV.bam bugRoomTV.egg. If successful, the converted .egg model will look identical to its .bam equilvalent.
• Open up Blender, go to Import/.egg and import the .egg file.
