Hmmm...
To do:
Regional differences, including modes added in the non-American versions of the game.
  • Speaking of, get functional codes for the Japanese/European versions and check if some of the non-functional debug menu options work there.

Debugging Functions

To access these functions, enter their respective Action Replay codes. Then, either launch or reset the game to have the aforementioned debug function appear upon startup.

Sound Test

Action Replay Code: 220694C0 00000017 (US)

MrDrillerDS SoundTest.png

A minimalist sound test occupying the DS' top screen, with some helpful button instructions to boot. Note that exiting the sound test by pressing Start will cause the game to hang, even if the cheat is turned off.

There are two options in the game's debug menu that should go to this screen, but freeze the game upon being selected.

Debug Menu

Cacti may speak Japanese, but do they speak it well?
...But does it make sense?
The translations on this page need to be proofread. If you are fluent enough in this language, please make any corrections necessary!

MrDrillerDS DebugMode.png

A rather hefty debug menu consisting of five smaller sub-menus, each labeled after one of the game's programmers. Also present are the game's build date, a timer that counts how long the game has been running, and the current date/time of the DS.

A and B are used to select a sub-menu/option and return to the main debug menu, respectively.

ひがし (Higashi)

Named after Masanori Higashi, the game's lead programmer. With the exception of 40, all of the menu's options freeze the game after being selected.
