DBG_MENU

The same debug menu that appeared in Regista's PlayStation 2 games can also be found here. This lets you choose music and sound effects to listen to. It also contains options to view background images, character sprites, and CG images. You can also select various scenarios to view.

Note: the following codes were only tested on the Special Edition version of the game.

ＢＧＭ	BGM	Plays all songs from the game.
ＳＥ	SE	Sends you to a list of sound effects to choose from.
エフェクト	Effect	Sends you to a menu where you can test screen effects. Nothing appears to work here.
ムービー	Movie	Allows you to watch all of the movies in the game.

Scenario

This menu allows you to view all of the story-related scenes of your choice.

Character

This option allows you to view all of the character portraits in the game.

BG

This allows you to view all of the background images in the game.

SE

This option allows you to listen to all of the SFX in the game. It also contains descriptions of every SFX.

Effect

This would let you choose from various weather effects, however none appear to work.

Test Debug Menu

Internally titled DBG_TEST. This menu has no function.

ShortCut01

Selecting the first option will allow you to view character sprites. The second option is a test script which will endless loop test text. Finally, the third and beyond is basically the same as the second option, but will start New Game normally.

With the above code on, press one of the button combinations to replace the main menu option, "Special Memories" with a debug menu:

• Select + D-Pad Left for ShortCut01.
• Select + D-Pad Right for ShortCut02.
• Select + Square for Filer.
• Select + Triangle to reset menu to normal.

ShortCut02

Like ShortCut01, this version contains a few different options.

• Selecting File 01 will begin a sprite viewer test. This only contains three sprites to view.
• Selecting File 17 or File 18 will display a background and nothing more.
• Selecting File 19 will display a background. Pressing Circle here will change the background.

Filer

This option would let you edit files, presumably bring up a hex editor-like window, boot files, and play movies. However, none of that works anymore.

The text reads "ファイルが定義されていません管理者に通報！！", which roughly translates to:
