Debug Menu

Acactussayswhat?
Please elaborate.
Having more detail is always a good thing.

In update 1.002.000 released on March 7, 2024, Insomniac accidentally left debug menus active in the game. Inside which, you can give yourself god mode, warp to the end of the game, entirely trivialising the New Game+ trophy, and any other trophies. This was fixed with a hotfix patch a day later.

A menu can be opened at any time by pressing the Touchpad button and Options button simultaneously. In the save file select menu, pressing L3 opens a mission select menu, and pressing R3 goes to the debug frontend.

Unused Mission

Under the "test missions" category in the debug menu is a very early, unfinished mission, that would've taken place during Act 2 of the main campaign, called Meteor. In which, Peter travels by train to an unknown forest location to find a secret Oscorp base, presumably housing the very same Meteor that Venom later grabs from an underground Oscorp lab in New York City.

Due to most dev content being stripped from the release build of the game, the scripts for Meteor are missing, thus the mission cannot be traditionally played as it was. The YouTube video presents the mission, as it was, before Insomniac later hotfixed the game to remove the debug menu.
