Hissatsu Pachinko Collection 3 features an heavy emphasis on Dance Dance 2, a popular digipachi from the time which may or may not have shared the same developers as the last two Hissatsu Pachinko Collection games.

Unused Music

Title Screen

Almost half of the music that plays on the title screen is cut off as it transitions into a demo of some exciting pachinko action. Here's that trumpet section you were missing out on.

Closing Time

Like in the previous entry, the music for the pachinko parlor's closing time barely gets to play due to the very specific circumstances in which it gets triggered.

Anti-Piracy

The game implements the same SRAM checks from its predecessor. If no SRAM was detected, the game will intentionally glitch and corrupt itself, such as casino names not showing up, most game modes hanging on a black screen when starting, but most notably, the player will always start with 0CR in the main mode. This will be enough to effectively and forcefully show the game over/bankruptcy screen the instant the player goes to their first pachinko machine, and to make matters worse, the game will disable all controller input on the bankruptcy screen once it shows up, requiring a console restart. Altogether, this essentially makes the game completely unplayable while also taunting pirates for playing a pirated copy of the game.

Region Error

If the game detects that it is running on a PAL region console, it will jumpscare you with this message.

Unused Graphics

Man, the 24 pixels' worth of shiny Sunsoft thighs we missed out on back in the day huh

A bit of the girl on the title screen was cropped to fit her in without blocking the logo (mostly, anyway).
